In the early nineties we were fortunate to have been involved in the construction of several aviation hangar facilities for Tramco, (now BF Goodrich) at Paine Field in Everett. The knowledge and experience gained on those projects has allowed us the opportunity to be involved in the construction of several aviation related projects since, making our total aviation construction and renovation experience over 1,200,000 square feet. Project Goodrich AeroStructures Integration Services Facility Owner Goodrich AeroStructures Architect AHBL Civil and Structural Engineers Description Design-build assembly facility project for Goodrich AeroStructures to deliver product for Boeing’s 787 Dreamliner project. Included 140,000 sf of concrete tilt-up construction with metal decking on metal joists with a single-ply roofing system. Also includes a 6,000 square foot office node and a similar sized mechanical/electrical room node along with a completely enclosed loading dock which accommodates a 15-ton bridge crane. The main warehouse is built on a 25’ X 100’ spacing, - resulting in 6’-0” deep joists to span the length. Many specialty features as well.
