Throughout our history we have pursued construction projects that fall within the categories in which we specialize, like warehouse, manufacturing or industrial buildings. There have been times, however, where we have been asked or given the opportunity to build special projects, jobs just outside our category types where a client has asked us to be involved as builder or construction manager. To date, we’ve successfully completed over 2,000,000 square feet of special projects, along with the construction management of the 140 acre Emerald Downs Project in Auburn. |

| Project consisted of the renovation and expansion of an existing 4 story storage building. The first floor slab is supported by grade beams and augercast piles. The other 3 floors are slab on metal deck supported by structural steel studs. 3 hydraulic elevators were added to the building while it remained open for business. The Sound Transit work on the street created additional challenges during construction. Over 1000 storage units were added which meant the addition of 1000 storage doors as well.. The project was successfully completed in December, 2006. |
